1. Why is there no certificate for fiber optic cable?
Pursuant to Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of 25 June 2009 On approval of the list of communication facilities subject to mandatory certification No. 532, optical fiber cables are not subject to mandatory certification. These cables are subject to declaration.
2. What is the warranty period and service life of the optical cable?
The warranty period of cable operation is 2 years from the date of commissioning, but not more than 3 years from the date of shipment. The service life including the shelf life is at least 25 years if the instructions for installation and operation are followed.
3. How is cable products transported?
Drums shouldn’t lie on a flange while transportation to prevent damage to the cable products. During transportation, the drums must be fastened with straps or scotch blocks to the floor of the vehicle to ensure reliable fixation of the container. Forbidden to punch the flange planking and drum lagging with nails and staples, when fastening the drums. When rolling the drums, the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow must be observed.
